THE POSITION OFFICES FROM THE WEST SIDE OF ORLANDO FLORIDA – CLERMONT AREA

This position is slated to become a senior level position at the College of Regulatory Compliance.

The compliance environment continues to intensify as a result of escalating regulation and corporate initiatives. Consequently, a void developed in the area of professional exams and executive degree programs. The College of Regulatory Compliance (CORC) is the global leader in compliance continuing education, talent assessment and development, professional examinations and executive degree programs.

We are searching for a "hands-on", highly organized, driven, creative, efficient career-minded individual dedicated to serve in a full-time (45 hours per week) senior position which will include some evenings, weekends.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

MANAGING AUTHORS

  • Track, manage and secure course materials (text books, instructional aides, lectures, examinations and supplemental materials)
  • Weekly proactive oversight of course authors to meet materials dead lines
  • Schedule conference calls with course authors and guest lectures to review and revise materials

DEVELOPING COURSE MATERIALS

  • Developing PowerPoints slides (using smart art) to graphically illustrate concepts
  • Draft course examinations (for review and approval by course authors)
  • Serve as support to course authors to revise, revamp and finalize materials
  • Perform legal research and drafting of course materials

OBTAINING CLE AND CPE

  • Obtain Continuing Legal Education (various states) and Continuing Professional Education (NASBA and NY) certification of course materials

REPORTING

  • Provide weekly status reports to Executive Director and Chairman

RESEARCH & SPECIAL PROJECTS -- as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS

Advanced level - MS Word, MS Powerpoint, Google Aps (Mail, Calendar and Drive) Intermediate Level – MS Excel, Wordpress content updating only (training available)

REQUISITE BACKGROUND

Paralegal or staff attorney with exceptional drafting/ grammar skills and a superior work ethic (50 hrs per week) but desires NO business development responsibilities.

OR

5 years of experience in developing and delivering CME, CPE, CLE or other professional continuing educational programs, including scheduling preparation conference calls, documenting actionable points, preparing/revising power points based upon prep calls, drafting/preparing written materials and managing speakers
